Beautiful, Indulgent and Sexy women, like Veronica Lake, Rita Hayworth, Ava Gardner, Sophia Loren and  Jane Russell all did their bit to win the war!

Pin-up magazines and calendars were shipped and distributed among the troops to ‘raise morale’ during World War II, reminding the young men what they were fighting for. Pin-up girl images decorated lonely servicemen’s lockers, the walls of barracks, and adorned bomber and fighter planes. The girls worked the camera, weren’t afraid to show some skin and truly celebrated their bodies.
