Muhammad-Ali, Portrait - Photographic Poster

Muhammad Ali was born Cassius Marcellus Clay Jr in 1942.

Ali was a Professional American Boxer and a significant activist. He’ll always be remembered as one of the most distinguished sportsmen of the 20th century. Ali was never boring. He was inspiring, controversial, and a polarising figure both inside and outside the ring.

Ali hung his gloves up in 1981 and in retirement devoted his life to spiritual and charitable work. He was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease in 1984; doctors kinked it to boxing and the thousands of punches he took during his thirty year career. Ali made fewer public appearances as the Parkinson's Disease progressed and was cared for by his family until his death in June 2016.
