A beautifully detailed colourful pictorial map of Ireland, jam-packed with depictions of historic sites, incidents and portraits of important Irish men and women, including explanatory captions. Geography has intentionally been kept simple, main rivers, counties, cities and towns.
The seas contain group portraits of "Dublin's Sons," "Irish Patriots," "Modern Bards" and "Erin's Heroes," in the lower right corner are being blessed by a Catholic bishop.

The map has an ornate border design and title decorations. A description in the lower right corner gives details of the adaptations from Book of Kells and Book of MacDurnan 6th & 10th Century Celtic Illuminated Manuscripts.
