Eraserhead is a black and white surrealist film that challenges conventional logic and story telling, energised by its dark terrifying mood and hauntingly disturbing scenes. Henry Spencer is an ill fated factory employee on holiday when he discovers that he is the father of a shockingly deformed child. Living with his sorrowful, discontented irritable girlfriend, the child cries endlessly day and night, driving them both to the point of madness.

Eraserhead was all too often cast aside as just another "70’s weird movie," it is however, a true piece of avant-garde visual art that has earned the appreciation of its audiences over the years. The themes and metaphors demonstrate how this motion picture is relevant to situations in our daily lives today.
