A wonderful Poster by Giles F. Kenwood advertising imported Australian apples. What could be more Australian/British in the 1930's than a blonde girl in a pale blue dress, picking apples. The message printed on the timber fruit box containing freshly picked apples, "Full of sunshine Australian apples British to the core" intended for the British market.Giles F. Kenwood was a British artist, illustrator and was employed by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents in Britain during the 1940’s and created safety posters during the World War II years.
